Having worked as a freelance videographer through the first half of his 20s, he moved back to the D.C. region in 2015 to begin his career as a full time editor and narrative filmmaker. Miles first effort was a web series known as “No Rights Reserved” followed by his debut feature, “Roads 2 Zion.” “Bunk The Scavenger” is Miles’ newest project, and like “Roads 2 Zion,” it focuses on the Silver Spring-area he calls home.

The doom jazz-esque score for Bunk is provided by the Italy-based label, Signora Ward Records. The soundtrack features a wide variety of artists both local to the DMV and international. Afrobeat artist Jay Cube, reggae singer Ras Slick, the experimental music collective Mourning [A] Blk Str, Toledo-based rapper CJ Da Great, DMV-based rapper 4cah, and the Kenyan metalcore outfit Last Year’s Tragedy.

Joan Jones provides special effects makeup for the film. Joan owns Media Makeup 4 U in Maryland. she has feature film, music video and TV experience. Joan is a Makeup Artist & Hair for “The Jet Set TV”. She recently completed the feature films “Designed to Kill” SFX & “Awesome Gal” MUA & SFX and “What Death Leaves Behind” where she is also the Dept Head for MUA & all SFX responsibilities.
